EVENT: My Departure from CRB Radio
After a ride that seems all too short when I think about it, I will be making my departure from The HumpDay Mixshow that broadcasts on CRB Radio. The end of this month (June 2011) will mark 3 years that I've had my own weekly mixshow and I've been able to learn more than just new styles of mixing from the experience. I take everything with me and leave in good faith.
So we're throwing a party of course!
Thursday, JUNE 30th @ Empire Liquors (1566 N Milwaukee Ave).
DJ's Rude One and Shon Dervis hold "Elementary" there which is a weekly hip hop event going strong for a while and they invited myself and Ricky Dubs to host the event!
DJ's Boi Jeanius, Big Once, Wrek & Pumpin Pete will bless 4 turntables with the rest of us to create DJ MADNESS all night!
FREE PARTY 9p-2a so come out for a good time!!
And now a few words about my departure.....
A big respect due to the CRB fam DJ Rebel 1, Khek, Kwest_On, Franco De Leon, Boy Wonder and Ricky Dubs first and foremost.
Huge thank you's and blessings go out to every single dj that ever blessed my show through these years. I've had the honor of rocking with individuals who I have respected long before ever meeting them and I am grateful for everyone who taught me something new that I met through just being asked if they could rock a set.
Many thank you's and insane respect to all the fans that have blessed my life from hearing my show. From all the love during live shows on the chat to people taking time out of their day to email me and have to translate to English in many cases. Words can't describe that right there...
To my family and friends that pushed me through it when times got rough, I love you all for your own reasons.
To all the people in the industry, from mc's to photographers to engineers to managers and to almost anything else you can think of, who blessed my life I thank you for the countless lessons in business and amazing collabs.
Just an overwhelming list of people to name so I will keep it nameless because if you're reading this you're one of these individuals.
To sum it all up, it's been one!
